Can I Get Some Advice On This One (Dark? Level?)?

Tue May 15, 2007 10:39 am

So, is it too dark for a.net? If not, I've been having trouble levelling it. Maybe a bit more CW rotation?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Hi Tony, nice pic!
Where did you take it? Boston, maybe? I like it. I don´t believe it´s dark, but yes, you need some CW rotation and also beware of the motive because there´s too much space to the left of the image. Maybe try to crop out part of the city on the left and include more wing material, if possible.
Good luck!  Smile

Cheers!

Hey, thanks for the feedback.

Well done! Yes, Boston last Saturday morning.

Yeah, I agree.

Well, it's already cropped a fair amount and I'm worried about quality.

Ah, you know what? Give me 5-10 mins and I'll post a new version...

Yeah, it´s better. The level is pretty accurate, IMO. As for quality, I think it´s fine, except for some jaggies (a bit on the aileron and spoilers). I still don´t know about the motive, though. I would give it a try, anyway. I think it´s a nice shot.  bigthumbsup

Good luck with it!  crossfingers

Tony,

Look, I found two recently uploaded shots that are similar to yours.
Give it a go, I think it has a chance.  thumbsup

Yeah, the above was kind of the quick-and-dirty edit. I can get rid of the jaggies easily...

Those are considerably better than mine, though, given that they actually have something interesting inside the "dead space", instead of just water.
