Would This Be Acceptable?

Sat May 19, 2007 8:15 am

Hi there,

I have scanned some slides from RIAT 1995 and found some cockpit shots of the Slovak Air Force Mig-29UB.

I would like to know whether such shots would get a motiv reject (a kind of wire/cable obstructing the view?) or is quality of the scans too low (1995 period)? Any other comments?

... and would this one get a motiv rejection for the stairs in front of it (although there is only 1 other shot of this aircraft in the database)?

Best regards,

Walter

Hi Walter  wave

I believe the three first would be facing a motive rejection, specially the last two within these. The first one is better but I believe that if you cut a bit on the sides, focusing only in the panel and the windscreen, it would be more appealing. However, the shot is soft and has some colour cast (might say a bit reddish, IMO).
The fourth shot will be killed by motive because of the stairs, I guess. It´s also a bit too dark.

Hope it helps. Big grin

Cheers!

Thanks, Gaston!

Every feedback is appreciated! I will try a tighter crop on the first one, but as you also thought, there is the possibility for motiv-reject... But, no problem, I like them also in my personal website  Smile

PS: my slides were also on the dark side, and while trying to lighten them in PS, they become too grainy...

Thanks and regards,

Walter
