Cockpit Pics

Fri Jun 01, 2007 3:35 am

In this day and age where you can't get close to the cockpit, how do some of ya'll take some of these amazing pictures? Excuse my ignorance if it's such a simple answer. But these pictures during take-offs and landings are great. Thanks for posting!

Most I imagine are airline employees who are authorized to occupy the flight deck jumpseat/s and have asked the Captain for permission and received permission to snap pics or take videos during the flight.

Usually, it's somebody who is part of the flight crew (ie, the captain or first officer) Or somebody who knows either of these people very well. Joe Average doesn't get anywhere near a cockpit nowadays, unfortunately.

Yes as the answers above, it will either be crew, or people authorised to travel in the cockpit such as company employess. I have many recent cockpit photos from such trips in the jumpseat.
