I don't really know whether they will be accepted, as of lately I've been pretty much just getting rejections o I'm not really the right person to say.

I PERSONALLY, really do like the photos, especially the first and second one. Congrats on some great shots.

I quite like the first one, but it seems to have a lot of small JPG compression artifacts (leading edge of flaps, below tail insignia). It would also have a much better chance if you can re-crop it to include the left horizontal stab, then re-save it at 11 or 12 for quality to eliminate the JPG artifacts.

The C-130 has a ton of dust on the image. Was it scanned from slide, or is your sensor dirty? Nice aspect though.

Refueling - interesting, I though you folks always refueled in level flight. Kind of soft and noisy, but a very cool insight into an unusual situation (for me anyway!).

Hi there!

- The Harrier shot is very nice however as Bill said it looks like it suffers from jpeg compression; this might be the result of saving the picture at lesser quality or of some compression taking place when uploading it to your profile. After getting rid of this you're good to go.
- The scanned Herc looks pretty good aswell; just get rid of those dirt spots. You might also wanna check the levelling again as though it might just be the different cloud elevations it looks as if it's slightly leaning to the right.
- The cockpit shot shows an interesting situation however half of the photo is blocked by the righthand seat and it's also pretty dark; don't think it stands a great chance of acceptance here.
- The Harrier shot is somewhat soft; also the huge amount of empty space between the 2 aircraft doesn't really help it but it might just make it.

Good luck!

i think cockpit shot should be leveled to horizontal,

it looks like refuelling so I guess both planes were flying straight and level then

If you look at the artificial horizon, we were actually in a 20 degree turn... I know it need a bit of CCW, but I wanted to know if the co-pilot's back took up too much of the shot...

I love the Harrier shots, the first one might be borderline for uploading here though. The C130 has a blemmish above the tail and needs levelling. I'm not too sure of the quality of that one, its a little grainy but its a terrific shot. The flight deck shot may be rejected for exposure apart from the level issue. Thanks for sharing, most people can only dream of a photo trip like that!

First one yes.

Second and third, no. Second is good, but quality isn't great. Was it taken through a window? I think the third will go Motive, Dark.

Last, maybe. Not sure on that one.
