US Navy looks grainy but might make it if it is a rare reg in the DB.

BA looks soft and oversharpened.

Edit: Is the US Navy leveled correctly? Looks like it could use a little CCW rotation?

Thanks. With Ref to the BA aircraft, what particular areas are soft? I take it the titling is oversharpened.

Quoting McG1967 (Reply 2):

BA has a really tricky livery to sharpen. I think the whole fuselage looks a little soft, left wing also. Might be the oversharpening that makes it look softer than it is. Upload the original if you want us to have a look.

Also, I think the photo has too low contrast.

Thanks Jacob. I have went back and re-edited both photos:

I noticed that the grain was being introduced on the US Navy C-37B during the raw conversion - which made it look like I had used the shadow/highlight tool under the wing.

I edited the BA image differently, not using auto levels and applying sharpening via a layer mask.

Hopefully these look better.

They look alot better now but i still think that the US Navy shots suffers from quality issues
