Have fun in Vancouver, it is a nice place to visit. I was there for 2 days after I went to Alaska. The show your going to looks AWESOME! I would have more than the 70-200 on me for that show. If you don't rent the 100-400 you can rent (for cheap) or buy my Sigma 50-500. I hardly use it anymore as I have the Canon 300 f/4 L IS
prime now. I don't know what the weather will be like, but if it is usual Vancouver you might want to rent the 100-400 because of the IS
. Other than the airshow you can visit Chinatown, which is the largest Chinatown outside China
from what I recall. I also went to Stanley Park which was cool. They have a very nice aquarium there and the park itself is beautiful. If you are staying in the downtown are you can also shoot at the Seaplane docks. I didn't get great shots because of weather but managed to pull this one off.
