Double?

Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:03 pm

Hi all,

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/Lynx268-3ptr.jpg

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/big/ready/Lynx268ptr.jpg

According to the rules, the second photo must be uploaded with the data for the Lynx.
Would one of these pictures receive an instant double rejection, or do they have a chance to survive both?
They were shot hours apart, from different spots, but I guess they don't show different sides, or do they?
There happens to be only one old photo of this Lynx in the database.

Thanks for any opinions,

Peter Smile

Hi Peter!

I wouldn't worry about doubles. The 1st one is in the air while the 2nd one is shown on the ground; 2 different sequences hence no double!
The 1st one is a little soft/blurry (nose part) however.

Good luck with 'em!

Hi Peter,

If you have some acceptance ratio to gamble on, I would give it a try unless a screener steps in here. You could always argue that the pics show a different side of the helo, but in reality we all see that both are basically frontal views...honestly, I'm more inclined to double  Sad .

Quoting ThierryD (Reply 1):

Hi Thierry, I hope you are right. You can have a T/O and a landing shot, but how taxiiing/ground shots fit into the rule is never entirely clear to me.

Quoting Acontador (Reply 2):

And hi Andres, my ratio isn't too bad at the moment, so like you're suggesting, I'll only pull one when told it's a certain rejection, since I like both shots, and spent hours photographing just these two helicopters Smile

Both are frontal views but they are 2 completely different motives!

If you are forced to make a choice, I would go with the second shot. Much more interesting IMO.
