Panning Attempt...

Mon Sep 10, 2007 2:23 pm

I hardly think Javier's place as the Panning Master is under any threat but one has to try...

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 143kb

Any thoughts or comments are welcomed.

Cheers

Chris

Very nice attempt. I'm sure it was a difficult shot. The back of the aircraft looks blurry/soft though.

Hello Chris.

I hope you are keeping well.

This is a very nice attempt. Though the lighting is nice and atmospheric, I reckon it will be a little too dark for here. Matt is right too about the rear of the aircraft. Does it need CW rotation too  wink ?

Take care.

I see a lot of jpeg compression.

Just thought I would emphasize that I had no intention of uploading, just seeking thoughts on panning.

Shot was a grab shot while waiting for Japan Air Force 747 to arrive in SYD (Photos of that were Dark, Grainy, blurry and definately NOA)

Hi Chris
I would dare to say you could have gone with a lower speed, therefore blurring the tower
in the background, which I find rather distracting for a panning shot.
The ambience in the shot is very nice though.
Nice try!!  Smile
