Rejection Advice Please

Tue Sep 11, 2007 3:25 am

Hi all,

3 Rejections,reasons as stated.

Soft. Looks perfectly sharp on my monitor,a CRT btw.

Big version: Width: 768 Height: 1036 File size: 209kb

Soft and Level. Its going uphill(building vertical in right background). Looks sharp on my monitor.

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 695 File size: 219kb

Blurry Nose! Confounded?

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 780 File size: 216kb

Any worth appealing? All were processed at same time as other shots that were accepted using same USM.

Advice appreciated.

Hi Andy

Quoting Ranger703 (Thread starter):

This one does look soft. And the tailfin, I think, is out of focus.

Slight clockwise rotation is needed. And the nose area is slightly soft. Selective sharpening is needed.

The nose is blurry (out of focus).

Hope this helps!

F3 tail is in focus to me,TR is clear as is Firebirds on the top of tail.ZE250 is covered in dirt.Softness must be me as I still cannot see it!

C130,what part of nose, because when I increase USM even by 0.1 pixel the windows beome jagged! Can you advise what I should use to level the aircraft on? As I mentioned the runway is on an incline at this point and the only level thing is the vertical of the building in the background.

GR4,just noticed by enlarging that the pitot tube is possibly slightly out of focus, rest of nose is fine, but I'll accept that and bin it.
