Acceptable "motive"?

Mon Oct 08, 2007 12:48 pm

hi all,

Recently I caught these 2 on the apron at Dubrovnik/Croatia.

There may be other issues with this pic but for now my question is: Is this worth a try or is it just asking for a "motive" rejection anyway?

Thanks,
Markus.

It maybe could of stood a chance if you had all of the IL-86's nose, instead of having it be cut off 3/4ths the way down. I don't think it'll slide by.

Hello Markus,
your idea behind this picture was really great and I'd love to see shots like yours in the database, but unfortunately I have to agree with Whappeh... The cut off nosegear and the missing lower part of the fuselage of the Ilyushin kills it for a.net

Sorry,

Thanks guys,

There was a lot of clutter in front of the Il-86, so I had to cut the lower part. Well, so as they say on here,
I'll "keep this one for my personal collection"...  Wink

Here's the 2nd (and last) attempt at "getting creative" with this unique (for Dubrovnik anyway) occasion.
Is that any better?

The nose seems to be out of focus.. so no really chance to get this one accepted

Thanks, Tom.

Didn't see that until you pointed me to it but you sure are right.
Well, the good thing is I also have simple "side-ons" of both aircraft, so
I'll give up about that one as well.
