Quick Question

I'll fix the "dark," but as for the "level" I thought it was ok to use the aircraft as the reference to level, where in this case the panel appears horizontally level in the frame. Has anything changed with that or was I mistaken?

Eric, in this case the outside, clearly visible, horizon is the reference to go for!

I am not sure whether there is a strict rule.
In your case though I would have kept the horizon as a reference because it is visible and just slightly off.
However if there is no way to correct the horizon due to a severe bank I do switch to the glare shield as reference.

We allow unlevel horizons but only if it's a steep bank like in Willem's shot
