Question About Common Rejection.

Sun Dec 02, 2007 5:43 pm

I have had pictures rejected for Common, just like many other photographers here.

My question is....how can I determine if a picture will be too common before I upload it?

I'm sure many of you have seen certain registrations with 150, 200 or more, but a registration that has 64 contributions is rejected for Common. Is there any rule that would help me determine when 1 more picture is too much?

Is "common" sometimes used to make it harder for a rejected upload to be appealed?

Input from screeners would be appreciated.

Thanx.
I'd rather be flying.

Screeners have said they won't reject an image for common alone. Every common rejection I have received have come with other reasons.

Correct. The common rejection will be given along with another rejection reason(s), such as, quality, etc.
