Pre-screening These 2 Night Shots

Fri Jan 04, 2008 8:53 pm

Having doubts on the second one...maybe some rotation is needed too. Any advice on these? Too dark maybe?

Regarding the leveling, the first one needs some CCW Rotation, as for the second I am not quite sure, but probably a little too. (the main panel looks a little off to me..)

As for the quality, in the first one try to give the MCP and the thrust leavers a little more sharpening as they are very soft (out of focus, which aperture did you use, as the picture has very little depth of field..) and I would brighten the midtones a little up.
But to be honest, I think the softness, especially at the MCP, will lead to a rejection as it is very distracting in my opinion..
But wait if others do agree..

The second one has again a depth of field problem IMHO. With the lower part of the image looking very soft, while the upper part looks a little oversharpened to me..

Hope this helps!
