Screeners - Creative But Maybe Centre Rejection?

Fri Jan 18, 2008 10:37 am

This one's in the queue. I've deliberately kept the aircraft lower in the frame so as to include the whole tower, which I think makes a nice backdrop and adds to the shot. Is the motive/centre OK or do I pull it and re-centre the 'plane so as to chop the top of the tower off?

Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 635kb

Thanks,

Karl

Very, very nice shot Karl. It's not really low in the frame to me, looks good and I think it should make it with no problems.

Hi Karl,

Excellent shot, deserves a place in the db. Gotta love the stumpy 717!

Cheers

Off-centered shots were allowed even before the new creative rules were applied. As long as there is an apparent reason to not center the aircraft, it is usually accepted. Here, with the tower in the background, I'd say the apparent reason is definitely there.

Nice shot!  Smile

Thats one where if it is off centre, you'd have to measure exactly how much because it doesn't show. Looks fine to me and shouldn't have an issue.

They are all correct, and I wouldn't be surprised if you got a motive rejection if you'd tried to centre the aircraft and chopped off the tower.
