Re-Upload: To Do Or Not To?

Fri Feb 01, 2008 7:13 am

So I had this photo rejected for a number of reasons and with the help of a better program I think I have ironed atleast most of them out but I think I got everything. What do you think?

Hello Joe.

I am one of the members who cannot see your photo in the post above (just the dreaded tiny dot), so I went to your profile to view it. Is the original rejection the second image there?

This new edit is certainly a significant improvement - looks good overall. I feel it should be made even safer with a 1024 crop. One thing I would still suggest is a crop closer to the wingtips - at present I feel there is just a little too much room around the subject for A.net's liking.

Cheers.

Paul

Place your cursor very carefully over the dot and the little 'hand' will appear and you can then open it up!

This really needs to be fixed and will make enquiries.

IIRC judging by the shadow of the aircraft, this will probably still be rejected for being backlit.
It's a nice shot, but, I know I have has mch less backlighting on a photo and it was rejected for that reason.

Agreed...the lighting is just making the blue kind of funky. Also, the port wing looks soft towards the winglet.

I made a light hearted comment about this very issue in this thread, Gary. Not sure about others, but it is really tricky to get the cursor in just the right place so that it 'turns into' a hand. One second it is there, then a tiny movement and it is gone. Very frustrating. I do hope they sort it soon - as well as explaining why editing the post sorts this bug out. Must be script related but, as I said, beyond me.

Joe - what have you decided to do with this photo?
