Contrast Rejection Help Please

Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:07 am

Hi All,

I got my photo rejected for contrast as well as oversharpened. I think I can fix the oversharpening but not sure what's wrong with the contrast? Is this too much or too little?

Thanks,
Mehdi.

yep

Jaggies under the wings (gap between flaps and trailing edge), yet titles are soft.

My apologies, Mehdi, these three are correct. Another look with a not-so-tired pair of eyes showed the lack of contrast.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your comments. I did it another go, any better?
I have a feeling that I need to work more on its sharpness, but before doing that thought it is better to seek your ideas first. Thanks.
Mehdi.

I still notice jaggies. I have nothing to add about contrast though as I too have that problem from time to time.

Contrast looks good to me now Mehdi. Nice shot by the way.

Only other thing I'd probably do is put the aircraft slightly higher in the frame.

That looks a lot better mate. Should do OK now. No where near as jaggered.
