Don't know if I'm 'high enough' for my opinion to matter, but for what it's worth here it is.
Generally speaking, for me when there is more than one 'main subjects' in one frame, the balance between each other has to be almost perfect for the entire frame to work. And since we are talking about aviation here, the main aircraft subject should not be blocked by the other subject unless for a very specific reason.
Personally, I would think your first try highlights the Ferrari and 'happens' to have an aircraft in the background - not for here. In your second try, the people and the car are just in the way of the aircraft, there is no real interaction between them but blocking, so I would also think it's not for here.
Regarding Kevin's try, looks to me like the best try so far, but I still fail to see the 'evident' interaction/addition to the picture of the car besides blocking the aircraft...
And finally a comment to Markus' linked picture. You see, here the car (and the F/A) is a part of a story that is being told in the picture. You don't have to read any comment to imagine what happened just seconds before...you completely forget that the car is blocking anything, and you would almost miss it if it wasn't there!
Hope it helps
