Took a while to get that shot, it's actually from a second night's attempt, and a slight breeze on both nights combined with the focal length meant not every shot was a keeper. I got lucky second time round with the amount of traffic moving around base (lots of aircrew getting shuttle bus'd to their hotels) so it was just a case of waiting for the right moment and hitting the shutter release. Certainly helped make up for the show being cancelled
