Pix Rejected For Info, Fixed, Reloaded, But...

Fri Jul 25, 2008 2:40 am

then it was rejected but this time for grain/noise. Is there a way of reloading rejected images due to info so that one does not go through the 10 day wait and having it screened and rejected by someone else? I left a note for the screeners as suggested.

Here's part of the email from the first rejection:

"We have had to reject the following photos:
- F4F22_Flight_155.jpg (USA - Air Force McDonnell Douglas F-4... Phantom II) http://www.airliners.net/procphotos/...name=20080706_F4F22_Flight_155.jpg

Some of the info you submitted together with these photo(s) was either missing, incorrect, irrelevant or in the wrong format. A common reason for this message is a missing registration or an airport name or location in the wrong format. This problem may also be due to the info being written in a non-English language or grossly misspelled, or to a significant incorrect use of upper and lower case letters.
This problem is usually easy to correct, and if this was the only rejection reason for these images, we would certainly appreciate a re-upload with the correct information filled in. If you want to read more about this problem, please go to http://www.airliners.net/procphotos/reasons.php#info"

Unfortunately the photo is no longer at the link above.

Here is the second rejection:

Is this normal? Or is it just par for the course? Comments welcomed.

This link won't show any of your rejected photos. If you're looking for comments, please provide the individual link of rejected photo.

Hi David,

Yes, it's quite normal to get a another rejection for something else, and no, there's nothing you can do about that, unfortunately (except avoiding the flaws, that is).

If the same screener sees the photo again, he may OK it, but photos need three green lights from thee screeners unless they're felt to be very good.

Thanks everyone. I'm not going to lose sleep over it, I just wanted to know more about the screening process. And I'll try and do a better job next time.

Best,

David
