Category Rejection

Thu Sep 04, 2008 11:44 pm

Hi,

I received a category rejection for this contrail shot:

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...ig/20080904_IMG_0542-BHOP-anet.jpg

I ticked DARK because sun was behind the horizon.
Any pointer?

Ps: is quality good enough?

Thx
Daniel

You shouldn't have selected DARK because DARK only qualifies to shots that have the sun BELOW the horizon.

Even though you stated the sun was below the horizon it still looks like its slightly above it due to the way the light is shining on the number 1 and 2 engines.

Correct.

Just wondering though, was this shot from the ground or in the air?

Just curious. You must have a pretty decent sized lense for this?

Should make it unless A.net rejects it for 3-4 different things this time just because the screener didn't include the other reasons the first time.

Not really an issue since i know it slows down screening time when they list ALL the reasons for rejection.
