Fri Sep 05, 2008 2:25 am

Got this rejected some time back.

Overexposed, contrast, color and common

New version

Does it have a blue cast now or do i think that just because I'm looking at the old shot which is incorrect?

Enough contrast or should i pump a little more into it?

Daniel.

The overcast clouds makes thye picturer dull and making the forground brighter will make the backround even worse.

First off it wasn't really an overcast day it was just cloudy. The sun was popping out every few minutes or so and i was lucky enough to get some light on the aircraft in this shot.

But if you think that making the foreground brighter will make the background even worse or whatever you think then okay!

The shot got accepted btw...

How many pics have you got at anet?? Not many I'm guessing...

Dan, I had a similar rejection just the other day. The overexposure is caused by the tail, and because you got that dreaded "common" reject, well chances are that it will only get accepted on exceptional quality.

Contrast well, looks ok. I'm getting a few contrast and dark rejects coming through which I can't really see either.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply Martin! I was also a little surprised at the contrast rejection, but after a while of looking at it i thought a little blast wouldn't do much harm.

The overexposed rejection was correct as i can now really see how blown out the tail was.

Reworked version seemed to do the trick resulting in the shot getting accepted!

Daniel.
