Having Problems With Leveling Shots

Sat Sep 06, 2008 12:23 am

Hey Guys

I'm having a load of trouble with leveling my shots. I use vertical lines almost always, and if that doesn't work I use a few horizontal lines on something which I know is pretty straight (mordern building...)

So heres my problem. I got a bunch of shots where there are a multiple vertical lines and it doesn't matter which one I choose, the shot does not look level. Same story goes with horizontal lines.

In addition I got this one shot where there is only one horizontal line present (one of some big office building) and its just not giving me level shot.

Here some UNEDITED resized examples:

And the one with no verticals.

How would you guys level such shots?

Thanks,
Sam

I'd use the central verticals in the office buldings. Not poles.

The third shot does have something of a vertical - the centerline of the power pylon. Not a very reliable reference but you should be fine with it.
