Tue Oct 14, 2008 12:58 pm

Although this yearly event which will be held at Oct.18(Sat) is only for the member club Friends of the Aviodrome there is a limited number of places available for interested people.

The progam will involve an update about the current Connie status and flight plans with room for questions.
After which a number of aircraft will give an engine run demo in the dark.

What's to win if you're inside the Connie for the engine start; the music plays OUTSIDE!  Wink

You only hear my envy speaking as I won't be able to come...  Sad

Wish you much fun!

Jut came home from a very rewarding day at Lelystad. All of you that weren't there, you missed something good!

We noticed that in Connie's #3 engine after dark.... IIRC a boost pump failed (which worked fine during the day) once again earning her title as 'the world's best 3-engined aircraft'  Wink.

Willem,

I'm sure I speak for Kas if I say that we had a very nice day at LEY today, and if that's not enough we got a bunch of good shots as well. I'd like to thank you and your colleagues once again for everything you have done!

Jurgen

P.S. If one of you goes to visit Willem and his colleagues be sure to bring a straw. Chances are that either you or someone in your vicinity is going to need it  Wink.
