"Please do not upload multiple sequential shots of an aircraft during landing, taxiing or take-off, taken only a few seconds apart".
Have you ever taxied an aircraft on a carrier- that distance takes about 10 minutes to cover.
Never mind, I hadn't actually read that before, but I know now- it would have improved my upload acceptance if I had! Thanks for the info.
I just try to bring something a bit different to your site, not just photos taken from the side of a busy civilian airport. I had hoped that the second photo would be accepted on it's merits as an unusual photograph which would be of interest to your viewers. The photo shows a completely different aspect of deck life, the deck officer still controlling the launch with a flag, harking back to the days of WW2. I doubt that people looking at the photo would stop and think that the other similar photo was not worth looking at having seen the first shot.
One question that I have for you though, why do you not reject photographs from several different photographers who all take the same image from only a few feet apart? With some of them, you can almost work out who was standing on which side of who!
I don't need a website to tempt me by accepting anything I throw at it, but by almost reaching 1000000 views now with just over 230 photos on the database, people appear to like what I bring to your site. The next photos that I was going to upload were some from the Middle East (lets just say that they were not civilian...), but another website will benefit from that now.
Bye, and thanks for all the fish,
