Try looking at the Fuji 9600 camera, its the closest you will get to a DSL, very low lag time and excellent pictures. Very good allrounder!

Take care

I had a Fuji 9600 before i got a DSLR, and I loved it. The only negative about this camera is its size. If your looking for a smaller pocekt sized point and shoot camera, im fan of the Olympus Stylus. It has all kinds of shooting modes and has i think 6 or 7mp, and a decent zoom.

The Canon A series are great. I had the A520 which my gf managed to have stolen, so now I have the Canon A560. Got that as refurbished on adorama for like $110.
