Anyone know what the best day is likely to be for the Russian stuff next Jan?

I do not know which day would be best, but all TU154 and Chapter III MD-80 have been banned from flying into SZG, so not very much Russian stuff left I guess.

The odd IL-86 and a few Yak-42 probably.  Sad

Thanks. Is INN worth a visit around the same time?

Hi all,

As every year, Saturdays should generally be the busiest (starting with the 1st Sat. in January).
Many Russians come for their Christmas (which is Jan 7, 2009, I think) so I expect Jan 3 to also see quite a few Russian aircraft.
It is getting harder every year to get a preview of the Russian traffic, but as soon as I get to know more, I'll post it here.
