Photos At LHR Was I Risking It?

Fri Dec 19, 2008 3:24 pm

I was at LHR on Tuesday and got a few very crappy pics (on account of the fog). I was taking them from the Northern Perimiter road as the planes were waiting to take off on 27R. I was taking them through the wire fence that runs the length of that road. I was only there for 15 minutes due to the weather but was I risking it as far as the police moving you on? Has anyone else taken pics from there? Any trouble? I thought it was a pretty good spot for line-up shot and would like to return on a sunny day.

Cheers

No you were not, I've spent many a summer's evening at that spot and have never had any problems from the police. Late afternoon onwards is best for that spot though.

Thanks, good to know it's ok. I'm not tall enough to get over the solid strip of metal on the fence so have to crouch down right next to the fence and thought it might look like I was doing something suspicious.  Wink
