Help With Spotting In Seattle

Mon Feb 09, 2009 8:53 pm

Hi everyone,

This week I'm in Seattle / Tacoma area and I'd like to do some plane spotting / photography at SEA-TAC and Boeing Field. Any advice as to where to go and what time is best to get some nice shots / traffic? I know SEA has a huge wall on the North side of the airport and it's hard to see the planes there, but I wouldn't mind getting some pointers from people in the area.

What about Boeing Field?

A couple of good guides I have found (PDF's):

and from the SpottersWiki:

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA/KSEA)

King County International Airport (BFI/KBFI)
