Sat Mar 21, 2009 8:57 pm

I was wondering if these had any chance of being accepted? What are your thoughts?

motive will get the better of the dash-8 (cut off tip of the wing) and almost all of them appear to be soft.

Is the softness something I can overcome with editing? ie sharpening

Yes use more USM on the image till you feel it looks sharp enough bring out more detail in aircraft.

If you boost the Easyjet and Emirates A330 with more sharpening then they may stand a chance of making database,TUI looks out of focus and blown out with exposure and Dash is motive with part of wing being cropped out.
Also some look marginally high in frame aswell so work abit more on getting centring correct.

Last BA A320 is oversharpened and looks to have quality issues.

Cheers Mark.

Also the BA A320 has some contrast issues and lots of grain in the sky.
