Need Help Identifying A KLM A330

Sun Mar 22, 2009 5:10 pm

Grabbed a shot yesterday of a KLM jet yesterday heading northwest over Scotland at FL370, Aeroseek said it was KLM617 heading to Detroit, but did not have registration available. Can anyone assist?

Thanks

Tim, ACARS says the 21st flight flight was operated by PH-AOI

20th PH-AOH
21th PH-AOI
22nd PH-AOF

but maybe I'm reading the dates wrong...

Thanks

Where did you get that from, so I may not have to ask a similar question again?

No worries, Tim.

To the OP: check out that ACARS website, it's a very useful tool for linking registrations to a particular flight, and I've used it countless times to find out if certain special paint schemes (AS's Disney paints, for example) were operating a flight I could go and catch coming in.

Doesn't seem to work for me as when I entered the details I had available at the time, it just comes back with a blank search results page

You probably entered the flight info in a format it didn't understand.

Enter like this:

KL0617

into the 'flightnumber' field

and then try sorting like this for easiest to read results:

Today only/FullDatabase: Last 7 days
Sort output by: Newest message first
Show results as: HTML table

you should get results like this:

23/03/2009 16:43 PH-AOK A332 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines KL0617 AMS-DTW
22/03/2009 16:33 PH-AOF A332 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines KL0617 AMS-DTW
21/03/2009 15:39 PH-AOI A332 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines KL0617 AMS-DTW

etc...

An alternative site is

http://www.libhomeradar.org/

which does much the same. Just beware it's predictive when entering the data in the text box so keep an eye on what you're typing, especially registrations.
