Photo Acceptance - Post-Screening (JakTrax)

Mon Mar 23, 2009 8:54 pm

Hi all,

I'd describe my Photoshop skills as 'very average' and so when it comes to a rejection such as the below I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...97993.7954ph-bxa_man_190309_kn.jpg

It was done for jaggies and soft at the same time, doesn't that simply mean it's blurry or OOF? Is it easily fixable or is it one for the personal collection? I'd hate to think I'd have to chase the 'plane down again to do better!

Cheers,

Karl

I guess it's blurry because it is very soft yet jagged.

Karl,

How does the original look at 100%? If it's fairly sharp in that view I would suggest trying a 1280 wide upload. Larger images give more leeway for sharpening with less detail extinction.

It looks fairly sharp at 100% to be honest. Would anyone care to take a look at the original and perhaps even help me out and have a go?

Thanks in advance,

Karl

Just send it over and I'll have a look if you like!
