Nikon 18-105mm VR

Thu Mar 26, 2009 9:30 pm

Looking at upgrading to the Nikon D90, but what are the opinions of any users of the 18-105mm lens?

Thanks

I have the 18-105 VR for my D80, and it works pretty fine. Though not for aviation photography. The 105 mm focal length just isn't much enough for shooting planes. Not even on ramps!
Though I have managed to get a few nice shots with it, but nothing great, and certainly not a.net quality. Though it could have something to do with that I'm not the best photographer out there, so...
