Photo Acceptance - Post Screening (Varig767)

Fri May 01, 2009 11:16 am

Hello all,

This one was rejected for 'contrast' and jagged appearance:

Though nice to see this picture survived the 'center' issue, which I corrected in comparison to the very first version of this photo. In fact, I considered the aircraft and the sun as one object which is centered over the frame.

Anyway, is the photo below better than the one above?

Kind regards,
Martijn

A touch jagged in front of the nose wheel, below the nosecone, maybe a touch running over the fuselage and a tiny bit under the tail on the fuselage. But I must congratulate you on a stunning picture! I'd be overwhelmed to get one as good as this one. Maybe the first one was a little yellow. If it gets uploaded, it's going straight to my favourite artistic shots folder. All the best on getting this one up, maybe someone else on here can help you out a bit more!
It's all about the destination AND the journey.

Thank you NZ107 for your reply and the compliments! The jagged appearance is (for me) very difficult to avoid because of the backlit aircraft.

As this photo was 'left for Johan' in the previous upload, and thus considered as a difficult photo to screen, I am looking forward to some screeners opinions about my latest corrections.

Kind regards,
Martijn
