How To Crop This B747?

Tue May 12, 2009 4:01 pm

Hello. Thoughts on cutting off the wing and vertical stab to get a tighter crop or not cutting off the wing?

Wing cuttoff:
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 431kb

Wing Full:
Big version: Width: 1024 Height: 683 File size: 405kb

Thank you for your input!

In my opinion, the first crop looks better.

And make sure you level the shot, its slanting to the right.

Go with #1 and rotate ccw, some selective sharpening on the tail wouldnt hurt either

Thank you gentlemen. Yep, I have to level CCW indeed, although I'm going to try not to rotate it too much so as not to make the Virgin on final crooked.

That was straight out of the camera (besides cropping) so I'm going to apply 1 round of sharpening to start, and then I'll try a little extra on the tail.

Thank you for your input.
