Hi,

it is too small, 1024px wide is a good size, yours is only 647px wide.
The airplane is too far away, you need a tighter crop.
The picture is grainy and the overall quality is not good enough.

If I blur the sky, will the grain reduce?
Because, I realized that the sky is terribly oversharpened, especially towards the top.

The aricraft is too far in the distance so you'll have to heavily crop it and reduce quality further. It's a nice photo, but not for here I'm afraid.

The sky looks very grainy, but the airplane itself doesn't look too good. It would be good if we could see a bigger shot (1024px wide) then it is easier to tell. but I fear that it is not for a.net...

I tried upping the size, and cropping it, but that only ruined it.  Sad
I reckon I'll give up then....

Just making the size bigger will ruin pretty much every picture. Try to shot with the highest resolution with your camera and zoom in as close as possible to have a good point to start with.

With that shot, I am afraid yes. But keep on trying with other shots! To pretty much everybody it took some time until the first shot made it into the database.

Good luck

Cropping should always be done to the original file, and then downsize the crop to say 1024 after.
