Thu Jun 25, 2009 4:32 pm

Hi, I was out at ORD on Wednesday and after following some revised editing guides, these are the ones that worked best:

Comments welcome... looking to decide which ones to submit to the screeners. As you may remember, I have been unsuccessful in any of my submissions:

Quoting Bistro1200 (Thread starter):

Hi Bistro,

all pictures seems be to 800 px wide. That is not enough.
You need these sizes:

1000 * 667 -> 750
1024 * 683 -> 768
1100 * 733 -> 825
1200 * 800 -> 900
1300 * 866 -> 975
1400 * 933 -> 1050
1500 * 1000 -> 1125
1600 * 1066 -> 1200

I would start with 1024px width, nothing higher at the beginning as the quality needs to be a lot better for the bigger pictures as small mistakes can be seen easier.

With that size of 800 it is harder to give some feedback. I see some contrast issues and softness...

Very good that you used the editing guide, it is of great help.

It's pbase automatically resizing the photos. Please click below on "other sizes: original". pbase resizes the pics to 800p wide unless you click "original".

Thanks!

Duh, silly me. Thanks for that, didn't see that. Sorry about that.

The AirIndia seems to hav some contrast issues. And oversharpen. Especially on the line under the windoes and the Indian titles.

The UA Express titles look blurry and the registration looks strange. Contrast looks ok to me.

I like this AZ the best:

The others looks oversharpen and a little noisy/ grainy under the wing...

But I am no pro, just my 1st impression
