Mon Jul 27, 2009 4:36 pm

Hi,

I wonder if you guys could cast your eye over this shot of a Spanish F/A-18 that displayed at RAF Fairford:

Hmmm I love it but the crop may not work here and some of the spots on the aircraft seem ever so blurry to me.
Hey that guy with the private jet can bail us out! Why? HE CAN AFFORD IT!

Quality looks a little lower that your other recently added fighter shots (seems like there's a bit more compression/artifacts going on - was there more of a crop or was this shot at a longer distance?).

However.... it's a really great action shot, so might be worth taking a chance at uploading.

Thanks for the feeback guys, appreciate it. The photo was shot on a Canon 40D using a 400mm L lens. It wasn't too tight a crop but was shot at a distance (it was as he was pulling up after a high speed pass).

I'd agree with the soft comments and i did try to sharpen it up but that was the best i could do without oversharpening other areas.

I like it too but i'm not sure if it's good enough for here. Like Dlowwa says might be worth taking a chance?

Thanks,

Mark
