Any Pics Of BA 747-400 WT Seats/cabin?

Thu Jul 30, 2009 4:20 pm

I am due to travel LHR-BLR on a BA 747-400 in the next few weeks, and I have pre-booked seats 53B/C.

Does anyone have any pics of the back seats of the WT cabin? Also, can anyone please advise me on how the seat is for comfort and sleeping?!! Is it as far from the side as 51/52? I'm hoping that the fuselage tapers in enough to allow me to rest my head against it for a little kip!!!

I was looking at 30 HJK or 36 HJK (am travelling with disabled parent, so need to have easy access to toilets) but am not sure how comfy they are - the thought of being last off (and thus last to the luggage hall) doesn't fill me with joy!!! LOL!!!

Any advice and pics are most welcome!!! And I will try and take lots of pics when I fly...  Embarrassment)

Thanks!

Did you ever do a search for BA 744 cabin pictures???

As far as comfort etc goes...I would suggest the following resource:

Yes, that is a good resource.

Have you talked to BA customer service? They'd probably be in the best position to help you get the most ideal seats, given the pax's disability.

You can either work for a living, or you can fly airplanes. I'd rather fly!

Vasco... yes, I do a new search every day just in case a new pic is posted!!!

As yet, there are some shots from the back, but not a full shot that allows me to see the two seats properly. I have also seen a pic of the 30-36 seats, but there is only one and it is from the back view. Would like to see a few more, and get some opinions from passengers who have travelled in those seats.

BTW, thanks for the link, I shall have a look now...  Smile

Sunandan, I pre-selected the seats via BA customer service, but they couldn't really give me much info on the fuselage etc. They just said that the seats are near to the toilets and my companion wouldn't have far to go to use them!

Thanks to both of you for your replies, much appreciated!
