Photo Acceptance Pre-Screening (McG)

Thu Aug 06, 2009 3:39 pm

Could I have some opinions please on the following shot, and which crop works better overall.

The first is an off center crop to include the tower with the Luxor writing on it - which I have noted in the comments to screeners box.

The second is a more convential crop of the same image.

Also, how does this shot taken through the terminal glass at KEWR look:

AHHH the parking garage at LAS. One of the best spots in the world.

Both shots are great but may be risking a baddistance reject. I would use the second and crop a little tighter. You will still have the sphinx intact. As for the EWR shot through glass it looks pretty good though I would bump the temp up ever so little and give it a little more USM. Oh yea clone that tug and rampers out of there!  duck
Hey that guy with the private jet can bail us out! Why? HE CAN AFFORD IT!

In the third shot would the ramper's head covering the wheel get a motive rejection? It's incredibly small, but you know how motive is...

To be honest, the Luxor Obelisk doesn't really add much to the photo, in my opinion. My eyes prefer the second crop. But again, just my opinion.

There's a big dustspot on the upper left corner of that COA 777 shot...easy to fix though.

The other two shots look like they need more zoom. I could be wrong though; depends on the mood of the screener.

Cheers for the advice.
I'll try a tighter crop on the second SW pic and look at the dust spot on the 777 shot.

All 3 shots have now been deleted from the queue. I will post the re-edits tomorrow.
