Photo Acceptance - Pre Screening (Jetmatt777)

Wed Aug 12, 2009 4:57 am

Not sure about this one. Would like some input.

Too contrasty? Motive okay?

Thanks,

Matt, nice shot and looks OK to me. However, i see you cropped out a small part of the wing (between flap and aileron). Might look a bit better if you included that if possible. If not, give it a go like this.

Hi Matt,

Agree, the crop doesn't look good with that part cut off, and the picture could stand a bit more sharpening.
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!

Well, I'm not too sure the original could be saved then. Although the original does include it, after I rotate and crop I am forced to cut if off as seen above.

Original (downsized and watermark added):

I feel this one may be a bit dark? Second Opinion?

Any chance it could be accepted if I sharpened it up some more? As you can see from my original posted above, I am stuck between a rock and a hard place as far as cropping goes.

Well, I got cold feet before it was screened, deleted it. Felt it was too dark.

How is this?

Needs a lot more contrast, but the quality (soft, etc...) is borderline anyway, so not sure if I'd bother with that edit.

Thanks. Someone messed with my monitor and graphics card settings on my computer. Can't tell what anything looks like now. Gonna have to do some work.
