Second Photo Accepted - MHO

Sat Sep 26, 2009 4:05 pm

After months of trying, I finally got another one uploaded - a Fouga Magister. I want to publicly thank Dana for his help and advice on this one, it kept getting rejected for too soft, over-sharpened, color, contrast, and was driving me mad.

So thanks Dana, your input was a big help.

Here are a couple that again are getting the 3 bears treatment:

This one is too sharp:

This one is too soft:

The one that preceeded both images was also too soft.
How does one get one that is just right?

Looks good to me.

By the way, the shot that is oversharpened, look at the leading edge. See how it's jagged? That's the most prevalent sign of oversharpening.

Unfortunately, I'd have to say no. Over-sharpened in most places, yet soft in others.

If you want more help, you know how to get a hold of me.
