Teaching Your Kids.......

Thu Oct 29, 2009 9:43 pm

Well since this one Do You Also Feel Discouraged? (by AKE0404AR Oct 19 2009 in Aviation Photography)
got hijacked and got a little bit out of hand, I am starting something new here:

Don't know if it will be as popular as the other one, but who cares, it should be fun.

Mine is starting early.......(roughly three and a half years old)

Big version: Width: 750 Height: 500 File size: 114kb

She's lucky Vasco.....at least doesn't have to save up for 4 years to buy an L lens Big grin

Great picture, always reminds me of Andy Hunt, who started giving his (Fuji I think it was back then?) to his son very early. By now he's got quite a few photos in the database, too!

I remember a picture of a screener with his 40D + 100-400L next to his son with an XSi? and the 70-200 f/4L. Mind sharing Andres?

Too funny,
My nephew would be exactly the same(unless a fire tender rolled past), his younger sister however would be at the fence with eyes as wide as dinner plates and you would have to struggle to drag her away.

Cheers

Chris

Although my daughter is only 14 months old she already has developed a strong interest in aviation. When I'm with my parents, who live in the approach path of BRU, I'l teaching her the differences between Boeings, Airbuses and Avros.

At home, whenever she spots me at the laptop editing photos or browsing a.net she sticks her arms in the air and sais 'woooosshhh'  Smile

My daughter (now 11) has taken an interest but her attention span is somewhat limited. She always likes the IDEA of going to the airport but is then bored after an hour (unless we're at MAN's Airport Hotel pub in which case her hand is always out for cash so she can amuse herself!). You'd think she'd have learned to say no by now.....

Her boredom with the 'planes usually arrives when she meets a hoard of boys to go hang around with!

OK Nico, I think you mean this one:

It wasn't easy at all for him to hold the combo steady, but he got a few decent pictures out of the session. And he has already 2 pictures in the database, I'd say quite an achievement for a 4-year old photographer!
Now, with summer finally arriving, I hope to be able to take him out to the airport more often, so hopefully he will be uploading more soon.
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!

Exactly! I love that picture!

PS: How can I see your son's photographs in the DB? What's his first name?

Here they are, and it seems at least some people like them, as for such small and uninteresting planes they have some good hits!
