Nellis AFB Aviation Nation

Thu Nov 05, 2009 1:57 am

With Aviation Nation right around the corner (Nov 14-16) I am thinking about making the trip to Vegas. I know that only small camera bags are accepted and I'm not sure if my LowePro Flipside 300 would qualify as a small bag. I'd like to bring a few lenses. To those of you who frequent large airshow such as this and have long tele-zoom or long primes how do you bring your gear if say you are looking to shoot both air demonstration and static display and need to change from a long lense to a wide angle?

Also any advice on where the best spot to shoot from would be much appreciated. With over 100,000 visitors expected each day it must be a mad house.

Oh, it's a big pretty white plane with red stripes, curtains in the windows and wheels and it looks like a big Tylenol.
