Tue Nov 17, 2009 12:37 pm

Hello all,

Found this website:

http://www.blurb.com/books/898709

via the scramble.nl community. The author of the book is a photographer who uses flashlight in air-to-air shots.

What do you mean by "in a studio"?

I agree he is an outstanding photographer, but he doesn't use flashlight, more like fricking huge studio lights Big grin

Yeah he does a lot of work for the MIL and AFAIK invented and constructed the flash unit himself! His work is brilliant!

Bahhh, he should seriously invest in a softbox... Big grin

As a nutty strobist myself strobing an aircraft is on my to do list, but showing up at the approach with 5 light stands and flashing aircraft on short final is probably going to get the police's attention. Police let us do a lot here in Zurich so I don't want to start pushing the boundries. Maybe i'll light up a few GAs.
