I am in need of seeing if the request is even possible and then pricing accordingly. I have been approached to have one of my photos to be used as a large hi-res graphic production. Here is most of the email below. Quick feedback is greatly appreciated.
"I am interested in possibly using your photograph from Airliners.net for a reproduction graphic on the side of a tractor trailer. One of my customers is custom building a 52' trailer to haul his R44 helicopter and we don't have any good high quality photos of his helicopter. I am looking for a good hi-res image that can be blown up to about 6' or so without losing all the image quality. Please let me know if you have this image in hi-res (maybe around 30+ megs) and if you would allow it to be reproduced in such a manner. Time is of the essence so I look forward to your quick response."
I have the shot in JPEG and RAW formats and had to crop about 10-15% the image to make suitable for A.Net. Shooting with a Nikon D80 10.2mp.
Would such a size photo be able to be reproduced as a hi-res? Since the graphic would be so large this would most likely be an issue of granting image use and not me producing the graphic.
Thanks for your help.
