Spotting At CVG

Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:16 pm

I read that there's a very good official spotting location at CVG (Cincinnati) and how it may be closing but the posts/threads are old. Anyone know if it's still open as of now?

Last time I flew through CVG about a 4 weeks ago there were plenty of cars parked up there. It's really only good for morning hours though. Or, if you prefer backlit shots, the afternoon is your time to "shine!"

It's still open. Haven't heard anything about it closing though.

How much more ATC school do you have? I moved to Pittsburgh in 2004 to go to the school. When I got there, I had to get a second job because my first job only payed $7/hr. So while I was working at PIT for 16 hrs a day, I went over the age limit to be a controller. So I canceled school and got my deposit back and never started the fist day of class. Hope all is going well with you!
Worked at: CV62, RJTA, KNLC, CV63, KNFL, OKAJ, KTRI, CV67, KMGE, KNQX, KVPS, KPIT, KCVG, KTYS, KATL
