Mcas Miramar Spotting Areas?

Mon Apr 26, 2010 12:39 am

Hey, I am new here but I did look this topic up and found nothing. I just moved to San Diego and Im having a hard time finding a spot where I can just park my car and watch the jets do their thing. Anyone know of any good places? Thanks

I haven't found any good spots. There is a lot of room to park a car on the side of the road off I-15 at the Miramar exit, but authorities will pay a visit and kick you out of the spot in a hurry.

I drove there quickly and didn't find any really good spots but Ryan is right about parking off the interstate.
Hey that guy with the private jet can bail us out! Why? HE CAN AFFORD IT!

I used to park at AIMD on base...or shoot from the flight line....if you can't get on base, you have to park on the side of the road and wait for a cop to ticket you or move you along.....
