Need Help Identifying Strange AC

Wed May 12, 2010 4:19 pm

Hello all,

When I don't get the chance to go to the airport I usually spot from home (about 70km from JNB). I always have my camera with me just in case I spot something interesting or rare. Friday afternoon I caught something I have never seen in my life, not to even mention JNB. Sorry for the crappy photo, I cropped a lot and tried to improve it a bit on PS.
Can someone help me identify it?

I suspect it was departing north and then turning left and heading south toward CPT like all the other aircraft doing JNB-CPT that day. Any info appreciated.

Yup, that is definitely a Dornier 328JET, as pictured above.

Thanks for the info.

I entered the aircraft type and SA as country into the search engine and it gave no results. Strange.

Anyway, still a nice catch.
