26.04.1993 was the date, the world was blessed with my being.   But I guess the range goes down to 1995's and 1996's.

so, I'm the youngest till now, even if I don't have any photo accepted here... but I'm working hard to get it!

3.15.1995. There may be someone even younger than me though.

I would say Andy Hunt's son Julian is younger, he has a few shots in the database.

John's son was probably six years old when he had his first shot accepted in 2008. He's a good kid!

I was trying to learn my son to take some shots , but he's five - gripped body and 100-400L lens combination is still too heavy for him....
Canon 50D gripped + Canon 70D + 17-40 L + 24-105 L IS + 50 f/1.8 STM + 100-400L IS USM + Minolta X300 w/ 35-70 f/3.5

My son is now 11. But his first photo was taken when he was 5. He "likes" going to the airport with his other "kid" (aka Daddy) but doesn't love it....trying not to push him into the hobby, hoping that he will find his own way. But with so many other distractions in today's world, it's going to be a challenge.

I haven't given up!

Thanks, Dan! We think so, too.

Stephen was born in 2001 and is 8 now. He still has a few shots that need editing/uploading, so hopefully he'll have a few more on here in short time. He has a steady hand and can zoom in tight on subjects without chopping off the edges. I help with the editing, but for the shots themselves he's on his own as I'm usually busy taking pictures of my own! Since I bought a 400mm lens recently he'll have greater access to my old 300mm.

Of course, these days he's far more interested in video games than aircraft photography, but we get him out every once in a while.

Does "having a shot accepted" include the editing?
In my mind, editing a photograph is at least 50% of the complete process, if not more. Or maybe it's just because I'm a lousy photographer to begin with

Editing is part of the uploading process, but it does not matter who edits the picture, what is key is who clicked the camera to get the frame. IMHO anyway!

True, but I know an excellent photographer from NZ who could not get a single picture accepted here because he wasn't able to edit them to the A.net requirements. I absolutely marveled at the photos on his website, but none of them ever made it here, no matter how many times he tried. So it seems that sometimes editing is much more than 50% of "having a shot accepted". If you can't edit them (or find someone to do it for you for that matter) - forget it...

I believe this might be the photo taken by the youngest person. It was taken by Tyler McLaughlin, son of Michael McLauglin, of the Concorde when he was 4 years old.

Well, I'm 13... No shots here, but on myav, I have a few. I don't have the right cameras to take pics a.net quality. I have a G10, though, which is an excellent point-and-shoot. Now that my dad is looking into buying some nice Canons, I might have a better chance at getting some pictures accepted here....

I have G11 which IMHO has image quality inferior to G10, at least at lower ISO settings. I have put a few pictures taken with that camera on this website, some even taken in difficult conditions. Here is an example:

I've met the photographer under the name "Je89 W." and he's only about 22 (I think), maybe 21 ... super young for having 1,265 photos in the DB already. When he told me, I was quite shocked but he's been doing it since 10 I believe he said. If you look at his photos here: http://www.airliners.net/search/phot...arch=Je89%20W.&distinct_entry=true you'll see he started a while back and has some pretty unique shots. But, that's him. I'm a newly turned 21 year old (28 July 1989), started last year at 19, only have 111 in the DB. You other guys are wayyy younger, I'm the old guy here!

My main point though was to highlight Je89 W. ... to me, it's quite impressive to be so young with so many.

Good day.

I was born in 1994 (1.6.), I know that I am not the youngest and I dont have any photo here. But I have only Konica Minolta Dimage Z3 I think 5 years old and I am from Košice, Slovakia so here we have only about 10 flights a day and I cant do photos from the apron but only behind the fence. But I am very happy that I like the aircrafts and I can do the photos which I can use as a wallpaper on my computer.
