Rejection Reason: "not Sure..."

Sun Nov 21, 2010 3:41 pm

I just received a rejection email and the reason for rejection was only a personal message that said, "not sure..."
I don't understand this rejection.

Here's the photograph:
http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/rejections/big/20101120_i1289579188.4933img_9712-3.jpg

Is it because of the seagull? If so i have seen many photos on Airliners.net with birds in-front of the aircraft (excluding large flocks and bird strikes). I enjoy this 'lucky' photo and want to know the reason for its rejection.

Thanks,
Chris

Not sure that's right! Are you sure there was no other reason? Maybe the screener hit send in error before filling in the real reason's? I'm sure just a mistake........
it looks a little dark, and blurry around the rear part of the fuse. And the sky is a little grainy....

It's probably a mistake or a system error. Wait till a screener points out the real reason for the rejection.

Seagul is not a problem.

"not sure" is of course not a rejection reason. It was meant as an internal comment as the first screener was not sure about the image and passed it on to another. The picture looks soft in parts, especially under the wing and towards the nose so that I would not have accepted it. However, as it was a mistake from our side you are welcome to appeal the picture in order to get a headscreener's opinion.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Sorry to say Chris but whats so great about this photo ?
I mean i wouldnt even notice this as a thumbnail while passing-by the hundreds of daily acceptances.
Why not work on building a great portfolio than uploading many photos ?

Thank you Stefan, now I understand. I was just curious if it was referring to the bird. I’ll re-edit this photo and try again next week! I’m still very much a beginner and A.net is exponentially helping my skills!

Thanks everyone,
Chris

Hello

I need some help, and instead of opening a new topic, I've decided on writing on this one...

Two or three days ago I got a rejection that I cannot understand... There was no reason for the rejection, only a personal message: "hif". Nothing more then this...
Can someone help me with this? What does this means?

Regards
Paulo

sounds like a admin error...and I'm sure a screener will let you know.
can you show the photo?

'High in Frame'...must be related to a centering rejection.

Yes, 'hif' is shorthand for "High in Frame". Centered as a rejection reason should have been selected but was obviously missed in this case.
